I'm happy to be back to provide a little follow-up on my magnetic lash experience. If you missed it, I previously gave an in-depth and honest review of my thoughts while wearing Opulence MD Beauty magnetic lashes in a separate blog that you can go check out right here.
Once you're caught up to speed, read on for a step-by-step guide on how to clean your magnetic lashes to ensure that your lashes AND your eyes both stay in tip-top shape.
After getting, even more, wear out of magnetic lashes since my last blog post, I can confidently say that I still love these lashes for 1) the durability and 2) the plethora of lash styles that Opulence MD Beauty offers for any occasion. These magnetic lashes have phenomenal staying power which goes hand in hand with using the right products for a smooth removal process.
Opulence MD Beauty makes it easy by bundling together all of the products you need to maximize the life on your lashes and to make sure your eyes are bacteria-free.
1) Remove magnetic lashes from your eyes by gently gripping the magnetic lashes and pulling them away from your eyelids.
2) Remove residual eyeliner from your eyelids using the Pristine Eyelid Cleansing System. Put this eyelid cleanser on a cotton round and gently rub the lash line in circular motions. The eyeliner will come right off!
3) Use the cleaning wands or regular Q-tips soaked with the eyelid cleanser to precisely target areas of your eyelids where tiny bits of eyeliner remain.
4.) Finish off with the SanitEYEs Lash and Lid Sanitizer by closing your eyes and spraying 1-2 pumps directly on your eyelids. This product contains anti-microbial ingredients to dissolve oil and impurities.
Now that your eyelids are clean and feeling fresh, time to care for your false lashes!
1) Use the angled end of the Lash Genie tool or the cleaning wands soaked in the Pristine Eyelid Cleansing System to gently remove eye makeup from your magnetic lashes.
2) Spray each lash with the same SanitEYEs Lash and Lid Sanitizer to disinfect and remove any makeup after each wear and before storing away.
3) That's it! Go to bed with peace of mind knowing that both your lids and false lashes are fresh and ready for the next day.
Final Impressions:
It's important to practice these steps no matter what type of false lashes you use. One of my favorite parts of this routine is using the SanitEYEs spray. The great thing about this spray is that it can be used for anti-microbial properties directly on your lids, magnetic lashes, and ANY non-magnetic lash extension. I typically like to use hypochlorous acid spray on my lids and natural lashes even when I'm not wearing false lashes, and this product gives me the same cleansing feel.
It seems like magnetic lashes are gaining popularity and for good reason. As long as you also prioritize your lid/lash hygiene routine then I say magnetic lashes are here to stay.
