Opulence MD Beauty Magnetic Lashes: Is she a keeper?

Opulence MD Beauty Magnetic Lashes are hands down the best magnetic lashes I've ever tried. Magnetic lashes have become more popular in the last few years, but to be honest, most are frustrating to apply.

Most of these products are so difficult to line up with the lash line that you end up looking more like a train wreck rather than the flawless queen that you envisioned - I know you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Because of what I've seen on the market so far, I lost hope in trying to fall in love with magnetic lashes, but I was blown away when Opulence MD Beauty lashes proved me wrong.

I'm an eye-doctor-to-be, and what initially drew me to these lashes was that it was created by a board-certified ophthalmologist with your eye health in mind. When beauty meets eye health, I'm all about it. These magnetic lashes avoid the need for glue getting all over your lash line and intertwined in your lashes. #CleanMakeup

If your lids and lashes aren't cleaned thoroughly, which happens often, then it's an invitation for an infection to happen. Cue the end of the night when all you want to do is rip off your falsies, drop them on the ground, and go to sleep.

The Application and Wearing Experience 

I have the Deluxe Double Mix and Match kit which includes 2 pairs of luxury cruelty-free mink lashes, a liquid magnetic liner, a gel magnetic liner, and an applicator. You can mix and match any combination of lash designs to suit your style.

As someone who isn't skillful at applying traditional falsies, I found the ease of applying these lashes quite shocking. The instructions state to apply three coats of liquid liner as close to your lash line as possible. Even though three coats sounds like a lot, I was still able to achieve a thin line just the way I like it.

Once the liquid liner fully dries, line up the magnetic lash strip to your eyeliner and voilà - she's on! The eyeliner has magnetic properties to it, which means the magnetic lash strip will adhere right where you apply the liner. I've never been able to get falsies to adhere so close to my lash line from end-to-end before.  It was an absolutely satisfying feeling.

I thought the application was easy, but the staying power of Opulence MD Beauty Lashes might've been even better.  At the end of the day with typical lash glue and falsies, I tend to have one end of my falsie flying off my lash line due to the oil on my eyelids loosening the adhesion - it's not exactly the type of look I strive for. 

It's a different story with these magnetic lashes. I put them through a true test by occasionally running my finger from end-to-end, tugging on the lash with moderate pressure, and even running a light stream of water down my eyes. The eyeliner didn't smudge and the lashes didn't budge.  

I was impressed with every aspect of these magnetic lashes from an eye health perspective, to beauty, to ease of application and staying power. #CleanMakeup

Overall, I love Opulence MD Beauty Magnetic Lashes, and they're going to be a keeper in my lash collection for those occasions when I want to elevate my makeup look and not have to worry about any loose ends.
